Participants also receive post-training follow-up support to help them establish tailoring businesses or connect with potential clients and markets.

Fabric Types and Their Uses: Cotton, linen, silk, polyester, and specialty fabrics.
Basic Machine Operation and Safety: Threading a sewing machine, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Measurement and Fitting: How to take accurate body measurements for tailored garments.
Hands-On Practice:
Operating a sewing machine and stitching straight seams.
Cutting basic patterns and sewing a simple garment (e.g., pillowcase or tote bag).
Week 2: Pattern Making and Garment Construction
Introduction to Pattern Drafting: Creating patterns for shirts, skirts, and dresses.
Cutting and Assembling Garments: How to properly align patterns and sew seams.
Fitting and Adjustments: Making alterations to ensure proper fit.

Creating a business plan for a tailoring shop.
Role-play on client interaction and service delivery.
Trainer-Learner Ratio: 1 trainer per 30 learners to ensure personalized attention.
