COMPANY OVERVIEW

Zebra Liquid Enterprises is dedicated to transforming lives through skills training and empowerment. Located in Kiti, Kasangati, Wakiso, Uganda, our company has a strong track record of delivering practical and impactful training programs to diverse groups, fostering job creation and financial independence. The founder of Zebra Liquid is a former street child and unemployed youth who received training and support from the TOMA Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping vulnerable youth. Inspired by his own transformation, he began training others, eventually registering Zebra Liquid Enterprises with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) and the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) to acquire a TIN number. They also registered with the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) to acquire an assessment number for their training centre.

AREAS OF OPERATION

We have offices in Masaka Nyendo and in Kiti, Kasangati, Wakiso. Besides that, we are operating in different areas like; Mubende, Kalangala, Mpingi, Kyegegwa-Kyaka Two settlement, Busoga Region, West Nile, and in Kasese.

EXPERIENCE AND KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: 

• Trained over 10,000 beneficiaries under the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI) sub-contracted by Tiner International School of Beauty within Wakiso, and Global Care Uganda in the Teso Region.

• Recently subcontracted by YMCA to train refugees in Kyegegwa, Kyaka II refugee settlement camps.

• Employed some of our former trainees to support our work in training others

• Linked some of our former trainees to jobs

• Managed to start 5601 VSLA groups across all the trained beneficiaries

• Provided Financial Literacy and business management skills to over 10,000 beneficiaries

 TRAINING APPROACH

Our experienced staff maintain a ratio of 1 trainer to 30 learners across all courses to ensure personalized attention and effective learning.

We provide an additional 6 months of follow-up for all learners, supporting them in applying their skills in real-world settings.

For those who start their own production, we assist in obtaining Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) certifications and link them to potential markets.

• Expand our training programs to reach more communities across Uganda, including rural and underserved areas.

• Develop further partnerships with local and international organizations to enhance the quality and scope of our training.

•  Introduce new courses and training methods to keep pace with industry demands and technological advancements.
